Journalist outs Ellen Page as a lesbian because Journalist "believes in the truth" and believes Ellen Page is a "hypocrite" and "liar" for not publicly announcing she is gay. Journalist is so fucking far out of line it's incredible.

journalist can go fuck themselves

fucking hell

Wow. Because that is such important information that she needed to be outed against her will.

Fuck that “journalist”.

Okay, one, use a proofreader before publishing articles that use being a “journalist” like a shield. “Ellen Page intentionally portrays herself as open-minded and honest person who stands for her believes.” (emphasis added)

Two, who she sleeps with is no one’s business but her own. Even if she did play an X-men.

Okay grammar-policing aside, coming out is an extremely personal decision, celebrity or not. Outing someone against their will is not only hideously callous and reckless, but can also be extremely dangerous. This “journalist” just disregarded the possibility (or worse, ignored) that outing Ellen Page could place her in potentially threatening or dangerous circumstances, over which she now (thanks “journalism”) has no control.

Check your fucking privilege before you decide who you get to out, you ignorant piece of shit. No gay person owes you anything. No one has to come out for any reason other than they fucking want to, if and when they feel safe doing so. That last part is important. Go fuck yourself.

oh god, emphasis mine. ^^^ this.

i’d just like to point out that i think this is incredibly relevant to bisexual and pansexual and otherwise queer folks as well, not only to people who identify as gay.
